02 — XRTG Routers

Every router, neatly on one tree.

Routers attach to XRTG servers and get polled over SNMP from there. The routers table keeps the operational facts in one row — host, SNMP port, how fresh the last poll is — so a stale device stands out immediately.

When a link spikes, drops or quietly saturates, the question is always the same: what does the path look like from there? X Traffic Diagnosis runs ping and traceroute directly from your monitored routers — so you measure the route your customers actually take, before they call.

Pick a router, set a destination, press start. Results stream back live — into the same NMS that holds your bandwidth graphs and optical layer, so triage never leaves the page.
