Statuses & lifecycle
Every subscriber has a customer status that reflects where they are in their lifecycle and controls their network access. This guide explains each status, how it is set, and what the block, disable and archive actions do to a customer's services.
The five statuses
New is the starting point — a customer created but not yet carrying an in-use service. Active means they have at least one service in an active, paused, pending or blocked state. Blocked, Disabled and Archived are the three ways an account is taken offline, each applied deliberately from the profile's Actions block. The status shows as a colour-coded badge (New in cyan, Active in blue, Blocked in red, Disabled in pink, Archived in grey).
Online sub-states
For an Active customer the profile and list also show a live sub-state on top of the status: Online when they have a current session, or Online in last 24h when a session ended within the day. These are read live from RADIUS accounting and aren't stored statuses — they simply reflect real-time connectivity.
Block, Disable & Archive
These three actions all take an account offline but differ in intent. Block is for enforcement (typically non-payment): all active, paused and pending services are blocked and network access is removed. Disable works the same way on those services but is used for a deliberate administrative stop. Archive is for closing an account: all services are archived, their prior status is remembered, and access is removed — the record and its history are kept. New and Active customers can be blocked, disabled or archived from the Actions block.
Restoring an account
Each state has a matching reversal: Unblock, Enable and Unarchive. Importantly, restoring the customer does not automatically switch their services back on — after unblocking, enabling or unarchiving, the individual services keep their status and you re-activate them one at a time from the Services tab. This gives you control over exactly what comes back online. Restore actions are unavailable while an owning reseller is suspended.
