OLT user management
The User Management page (Settings → User Management) lets a super-administrator control which OLTs each user can see and work on, and create NMS-only technician accounts. Every other NMS page — the dashboard, autofind, alarms, capacity and the topology — respects the OLT access you set here.
Who can access this page
The page is restricted to super-administrators. Anyone else is redirected back to the dashboard. This keeps control over OLT access and account creation in the hands of your top-level admins.
The users table
The table lists every user with the columns User, Role, CRM Access, OLT Access, Assigned OLTs and Actions.
- User: the person's full name and login (username).
- Role: their role, e.g. technician.
- CRM Access: Yes or No — whether the account can also log into the CRM.
- OLT Access: either All OLTs (unrestricted) or Restricted.
- Assigned OLTs: for restricted users, the specific OLTs they are allowed to work on.
A user who has never logged into the NMS shows Login first instead of an edit button — the account has to sign in once before its OLT permissions can be set.
Adding an NMS user
Click Add User to open the Add NMS User dialog. This creates an NMS-only account with the technician role — the user can log into the NMS but not the CRM. Enter an Email (required), an optional Full Name and a Password (required, at least 6 characters), then click Create User. The new account appears in the table straight away.
Setting OLT permissions
Click OLT Access on a user's row to open Edit OLT Permissions. Here you choose what that person can reach:
- Turn on All OLTs (unrestricted access) to let them work on every OLT. The individual list is greyed out when this is on.
- Leave it off to restrict access, then tick only the OLTs the user should have. Each OLT is listed with its name and management IP.
Click Save Permissions to apply. The change takes effect immediately and the Assigned OLTs column updates to reflect it.
