Audit Log
The Audit Log records who did what, and when, across the NMS. It captures OLT configuration changes as well as system and account events such as logins, settings changes and permission updates. It is a read-only record for accountability and troubleshooting, available to administrators only.
Who can see it
The audit log is restricted to administrators. If you are not an admin the page tells you the log is available to administrators only. This keeps the activity trail visible to the people responsible for oversight.
What each entry shows
Every event is listed with these columns:
- Time: when the event happened.
- User: the person who performed the action (or Unknown).
- Action: what they did, e.g. a configuration change or a login.
- Scope: either a specific OLT (named) or System for account and settings-level events.
- Details: the specifics of the change, expanded into readable key/value pairs.
A badge at the top shows how many events match your current filters.
Filtering the log
Three controls narrow the view:
- Scope: All events, System / account (logins, settings, permissions, account changes) or OLT changes.
- Time range: Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 30 days or All time.
- Search: free-text search across the user, action and details. Click Filter to apply.
The log shows the most recent 500 matching events; if you hit that limit, narrow the filters to reach older entries.
