Hotspot profiles
A hotspot profile is the template a voucher card is worth — it sets the speed, data allowance, how long the card stays valid and what it costs. Every card is generated against a profile, so profiles are the first thing to set up in the hotspot module. They live under Hotspot > Profiles.
The profile list
Profiles are shown as cards, each summarising its Speed (download / upload), Data Limit, Session / Idle timeouts, Validity in days, the number of simultaneous users allowed, and its status. Search by name or filter by Active / Disabled to find one. Click Add Profile to create a new one, or open an existing profile to edit it.
Creating a profile
The editor asks for a Profile Name and Status, an optional description, and then the limits that define the card:
- Download Speed and Upload Speed in Kbps (for example 2048 for 2 Mbps).
- Data Limit with a unit of MB, GB or TB — leave it empty for unlimited data.
- Session Timeout and Idle Timeout in minutes — leave empty for no limit.
- Validity (days), how long the card remains usable once activated.
- Simultaneous Users, how many devices can share one card at once.
- Price, in your configured currency, used to value the card and total revenue.
Lock to MAC
The Lock to MAC Address option binds a card to the first device that connects with it. Turn it on to stop a single voucher being shared across many phones — once locked, the card only works on that original device for the rest of its validity. Leave it off if you want the card to be freely shareable up to its simultaneous-users limit.
